French Toast

  • 6 eggs

  • 1 cup half and half or whole milk

  • 2 T pure (real) maple syrup

  • 1 t vanilla extract

  • Pinch salt

  • 8-10 slices of thickly sliced bread.

Makes enough batter for roughly 4-6 servings, depending on thickness, texture, and moisture of bread. Easily halved, doubled, or tripled.

Can be prepared with non-dairy milk. When using non-dairy milk it’s best to add an additional egg yolk, as the batter may not be thick enough without it.
